Morning Glory - Satellite Image

7th Oct 1992. Rob Thompson & Russell White soared this one to Booraloola, remaining coastal on the first wave (just visible in this picture). The main wave was hinted at by a line of cumulus way out to sea, but we remained ignorant of its size until obtaining this picture some years later when it was faxed to us by Mike Rosel at Dept Meteorology Melbourne. This is probably not the same image featured in the ABC's Quantum program on the Morning Glory.
