Mango Lassi
Ingredients
Squeezed mangoes or mango pulp
1/4 of total quantity desired (read tips below)
Milk (preferably not skimmed) - 1/2 of total quantity desired
Vanilla ice cream or yoghurt  - 1/4 of total quantity desired (I prefer yoghurt)
Cardamom  - a pinch of powder per cup (ground seeds work best).

Preparation
Add ice cream or yoghurt, milk, and mango pulp to the blender and blend them for about 2 minutes.
Add cardamom to smoothie and blend it again for a few seconds.
Refrigerate the smoothie and serve with or without ice. A sprig of mint is a nice touch.
Use vanilla flavoured icecream if natural is not available. Use plain yoghurt if possible.
Some like the shake to be thick and some like it more runny. I prefer it on the thicker side. Control the consistency by varying the amount of ice cream or yoghurt.
Similarly, the quantity of mango pulp that goes into the shake depends on individual taste.
Travellers often rave about this drink, which is available in most parts of India.
It really is quite delicious, and lends itself to all sorts of experimentation.

Mango Heaven
As above, but add vodka & Cointreau.
