Portable Document Format by Adobe. A most useful method of transmitting formatted information such as news letters and sales brochures over the web. Requires a plug-in.

Using the PDF format the information will not be reformatted by your browser. Once the PDF Acrobat software is set up, only the information you require needs to be downloaded, saving you  time. The PDF files can be saved to disc for future reference.

Adobe produce Acrobat Reader. It is free, easy to install and available from their website. 

The software is available for most computer platforms.
