Have recently purchased a 1998 Tiger and what an amazing bike it is! The power is more than adequate, the handling is superb and the overall comfort is excellent as is the suspension etc.
My only gripe is the mufflers are too quiet for the bike. The three cyclinder engine would sound much better through some mufflers that would give it more of an earlier Triumph sound of the seventies etc. Does anybody know if the standard mufflers can be easily modified to give a better sound? Please feel free to e-mail me on this matter.
Otherwwise, the bike is magnificent. My last Triumph was a 1987 Harris built Tiger 750 twin which was a lovely bike , but, the newer Tiger is mcuh better! Adios amigos.
