Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Avro Lancaster, Spitfire, and Hurricane Replicas

Spitfire, Hurricane, and Lancaster KM-B. All have markings and squadron identification representing a division of the groups that flew them over the skies of London during the Blitz. The models in this set are Lancaster PA474, one of the few flying examples in the world, Spitfire AB910 and Hurricane LF363.
Scale is 1/144, includes display stands and display box, and removeable undercarriage.

Corgi Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress Memphis Belle
Release date: October 1999
B-17F, 41-24485 went into service with the 8th Air Force's 324th Bombardment Squadron based at Bassingbourne, Cambridgeshire. Coded DF-A, and named "Memphis Belle," the aircraft achieved celebrity status as the first 8th AirForce Bomber to complete 25 missions. Today the aircraft is on display at Mud Island, Tennessee. This version features livery changes including revised nose art to the previous release.

Boeing Fortress MK IIA - RAF Coastal Command
Release date: August 1999
FL459 arrived in the UK on 23rd July 1942 and was delivered to RAF Coastal Command's No. 220 Squadron at Ballykelly on 20th August 1942.

Corgi Supermarine Spitfire MKIIA OC Tangmere Wing Die-Cast Airplane 
Already a Hurricane ace with No. 242 Squadron despite the handicap of having lost his legs in a pre-war accident, Wing Commander Douglas Bader was appointed to command the Spitfire IIA equipped Tangmere Wing in March 1941. He was taken prisoner in August 1941, at which time his total score of 20 and four shared destroyed, six and one shared probably destroyed, and eleven damaged. The "Supermarine Spitfire MKIIA OC Tangmere Wing" is a P7966 from a batch of 1,000 MKIIAs delivered between June 1940 and July 1941. Carries Bader's personalized code D-B. Wingspan 156mm.

Corgi P51D Mustang of  363rd Fighter Group Die-Cast Airplane
Charles "Chuck" Yeager demonstrated a blend of cockiness and fealessness which served him well both in the War and later as a test pilot. Yeager ended the war with 11-1/2 aerial victories, but was himself shot down, evading capture with the help of the French Resistance. As a test pilot after the war, he was the first man to break the sound barrier. The "P51D Mustang of 363rd Fighter Group" was coded B6-Y and was the third of Yeager's Mustangs, all named after his sweetheart, "Glamorous Glen." Wingspan 155mm.

Limited Edition. Avro York MW 169 was originally built for the Royal Air Force just before the end of the war. However it was diverted to the French Armee de l'air for use by General Charles De Gaulle in June 1945. Release date: February 1999

Short Sunderland MK V - RAF Coastal Command
Limited Edition. SZ568 first served with No. 302 Ferry Training Unit at Alness, near Invergordon, but in April 1946 the plane was passed to No. 4 Operational Training Unit and carried the TA-C code. Release date: September 1999

Short Sunderland MK III - Royal Australian Air Force
The first production Sunderland MKIII, W3999, was flown at Rochester on 15th December 1941. On 29th January 1942 it was delivered to No. 10 Squadron of the RAAF. Coded RB-Y, W3999 was lost in 1942. Release date: October 1999
