1947 Chrysler Town & Country 
In 1947, Chrysler introduced whitewall tires, enabling the rear fenders to allow larger wheelhouse openings. And the Town and Country remained the optimal vehicle for both the suburbs and the city. The two-door convertible was fitted on a New Yorker chassis powered by a magnificent L-head 8 cylinder 323.5 cubic inch engine. Its elegance was enhanced by Highlander upholstery, All-Weather Air Control and a choice of two radios. Original sticker price in 1947 was: $2,743
