Customer Review: The book was most helpful in helping me to prepare for the exam. In all my experience working as a programmer and network administrator, I've rarely found a book as helpful as this in getting me up to speed in preparation for a certified exam. An easy read and well laid out. I highly recommend... more info
Customer Review: As a first step toward achieving the CCNA, the new Cisco certification CCENT tests basics (using Cisco equipment)expected of entry-level technicians entering the networking field. The title of the book states exactly what is: SELF-STUDY GUIDE TO INTERCONNECTING CISCO NETWORK DEVICES, PART 1, ICND1.... more info
Customer Review: CCIE Routing and Switching Exam Certification Guide (3rd Edition) unlike some Cisco Press publications, is well written and actually has a voice. Customer Review: There are lots of information in this book. Although it looks heavy and thick, I think it will help me to prepare an exam. Good luck, everybody!

Customer Review: As a general QoS resource I got it. Well, I was hoping to learn enough to pass the CCIE test and handle my daily design and troubleshooting issues - it offered more than that and amazingly took me back to 2001-2002 when this Author had the best ever CCNA book! 1- If you're going to take a CCIE... more info
Customer Review: While preparing for the ISCW exam, I also read this - and it was great! It helped me pass both my ISCW and CCNA Security exams. Apparently, there's a lot of overlapping topics in both exams. Read the ISCW book and read BCMSN's topics on switch security then go for the CCNA Security - just awesome!

Like how-to pick an isp, find a host on the network (down to the switchport), and how to make your router/switch secure with ssh. My... more info
