Customer Review: I learned everything needed to pass the 70-067 exam, saved $1900, and know more about NT Server than my cohorts who wasted a week eating bagels at the Microsoft Training Center. If you want to become an MCSE, buy this book - - if you want to waste company time, go sit in a classroom and get less... more info
Customer Review: This book is very thorough on certain subjects, too much so in fact. It repeatedly gives instructions for procedures that anyone studying Enterprise should already KNOW (such as creating an NT boot disk and creating user accounts). Other areas are incomplete, including subjects touched on in the... more info
Customer Review: Very easy to follow, screen by screen with point explanations. The only draw back: There's no practice exams like the others on the maket (Exam Cram), so you might have to get yourself some other simmulation exam like Transcenders.
I beleive this is the first print, so be expected to see couple of... more info
Customer Review: I used this book and also took instructor-led courses to prepare for the MCP exams. It helped me a lot in understanding the core concepts and the architecture of Windows NT4.0. Also the questions after each chapter were very similar to the real exams. However, there are two major weaknesees of this... more info
Customer Review: The reason I prepared for this exam was because I did not have much NT4 experience. There are not as much study guides available for this exam as there are for others. I decided to go for Syngress because I enjoyed their other publications.
Overall this book does a good job but there are... more info
Customer Review: Overall this is not an excellent book to use as your main study guide, but I would also suggest using another source of information. The Enterprise exam that I took had several indepth questions relating to the IIS 3 as well as other topics that were gone over only briefly in the book.
Customer Review: This book contained some good information but was filled with too many errors. The errata from the publisher's web site does not cover even half of the errors, and contains errors itself! Even at a clearance price this book was a waste of money.
Customer Review: This book is a great complement to the training guide but some chapters include some information unnecesary foir the exam like how to reboot tje computer cally runddll32 to setup API and similar ones. It has some tipos but information on monitoring optimization and conectivity is superb, and very... more info
