I can't remember when I first read the adventures of Tom Sawyer. I also initially couldn't recall any details about the book. So I re-read the book. As I learned, Mark Twain grew up in a southern slave state. He also traveled to lots of places that helped him form the background of his novel.more info

Never thought that Mark Twain would have written this book. It shows his admiration for Joan of Arch. It is a great portrait of her life. Excellent reading for our youth now a days. With God on our side, we can conquer the impossible!
