I ordered about 4 different landscaping books. This one is my favorite because it is specific to the midwest. That means everything in there is feasible for me. No use looking at a book and daydreaming about southwest landscaping when it just won't survive here, and vise versa for that matter.

This is the worst book I have ever read. I finally got through this book and that's a lot hours of my life I'll never get back. Roger Welsch's hick style of writing is horrible. It makes no sense and these cutesy tales he tries to tell are really boring. Save your money. Roger should give up... more info
