Customer Review: National Geographic is well known by the quality of their maps & their awesome photography; and this travel guidebook it's no exception. It's very informative without being too in depth. The pictures makes you feel like you're there (in my opinion). This one can complement the Moon's guidebook... more info
Customer Review: This book is a great read for people who like to travel but don't always have time to sit down and read for hours. Going through some of the lists gives me ideas on the next trip and makes me curious to learn more about the places or things listed.
Customer Review: i saw this book at a doctor's office and had a sufficient enough wait to be able to leaf through it. this is a 'must buy', chock full of fabulous tips. it passed my test when i found a couple of my 'where to go, what to do best kept secrets' inside. a great gift to your self or another.
Customer Review: doesn't have enough indepth information, just simple references for the most part. thought I'd give it a try to compare to Footprints, Eyewitness, etc. It's more armchair reading than in-country helpful. Beautiful pictures, of course!

LP has much more detailed hotel/restaurant/tour... more info

Customer Review: This book was like a first-rate advertisement that helped me figure out where I'd like to go in a foreign country. The pages hold a variety of images from a magnificent beach and napping monkeys to a lush jungle, or smiling villagers. After perusing the photos, I went back to the ones that... more info
Customer Review: "China" tries to cover too much (including Tibet and Inner Mongolia) to be useful as a tour book (imagine trying to cover the U.S. in < 400 pages), and lacks enough photos (none the size or quality associated with "National Geographic") to qualify as a treat for the senses. In addition, it totally... more info
