I'm not interested in farming & agriculture 2500 years ago, I'm interested in historical facts such as wars, kings, quuens, tyrants etc.
I wish I could get my money back!

The picture on the cover of this text is of The Dome of the Rock (Arabic: translit.: Masjid Qubbat As-Sakhrah, Hebrew: translit.: Kipat Hasela, Turkish: Kubbetüs Sahra). It is an Islamic shrine.
It is not the 'Church of the Holy Sepulchre' as mis-identified in the Atlas itself.

Hayes' "Historical Atlas of California" is a real treasure.
His book spans 500 years of the history of CA.
It is very readable and a "must have" for any student of historical geography. I strongly recommend it. It is well written and very well illustrated. A real find.
