Customer Review: This book is an excellant starter for learning electric guitar. The music disc really helps in bringing the sound and book lessons together. I am still learning, but with the layed out weekly lessons, it makes it much easier to stay on track. The book certainly makes it much easier, but like... more info
Customer Review: Building Electric Guitars provides a solid foundation for novice builders looking to start building their first guitar. It has good tips for designing, cutting, and assembling the body and neck. The only drawback is the photos are fairly small and are in low quality black and white; but, in... more info
Customer Review: If you're a total guitar nut like me, this is a must have book. The 10th edition is the best yet. It's a tremendous resource for brand information, model specs, history, and pricing. Customer Review: This book is a very easy read that tells you how to make your electric guitar play better. I learned so many easy ways to fix my guitars. For example, my son has a Telecaster that the neck is slightly crooked to one side. Sure enough, the book states this is very common and shows you how to fix it.

I also recommend getting Oakham's book Building Your Own Electric Guitar. Why do I recommend getting 2 books? Well I am an avid woodworker and... more info
