 Bought this for my grandson along with Larry Monroe's DVD (Improvisation Jazz Experience). Monroe's is actually useful. I'm not sure what Lovano was trying to say, he basically keeps repeating that one should have a 'personal' approach but offers no real insight on what this means or how to break it... more info
