1.Stars and Stripes ForeverStars & Stripes Forever
from 20th Century Fox

Customer Review:
This is a nice family movie that is worthwhile watching more than once not only by its great music but by Clifton Webb's acting. I hope to be able sometime within the near future to obtain a copy in DVD format.

2.Song to Remember, ASong to Remember, A
from Sony Pictures

Customer Review:
A cameo on Frederick Chopin in his short lifespan. Wilde and Oberon give excellent performances and Paul Muni shines in this one. if you like a good story, lovely music and beautiful scenery, this is a classic well worth adding to your collection. Flicks of this quality, once made, will never be... more info

Customer Review:
Considered by some to be James Cagney's finest performance, YANKEE DOODLE DANDY offers one of the best core ensemble cast with Walter Huston, Joan Leslie, Richard Whorf, and Jeanne Cagney (James' sister) among others. 4.Great CarusoGreat Caruso
from MGM (Warner)

Customer Review:
All these years later, I still love him - and the story of the great Caruso is as tender and touching as it was fifty years ago. And, pardon me, but doesn't Mario Lanza make some of our present day tenors sound thin and reedy? I may have crossed the line there, but, for me, there is nothing like the... more info

5.JanisJanis
from Mca

Customer Review:
The first sight I ever had of Janis Joplin was in 1977 when I was 11 years old, and with my pocket money one day I bought a book, 'The Illustrated Rock Almanac'. The photos were tiny, but I marvelled at a woman who looked to be wailing like a wild animal - hair frizzy and flying, mouth open wide... more info

8.Jolson StoryJolson Story
from Sony Pictures

Customer Review:
Great movie, sure the biography is not accurate, but remember when this movie was made character flaws were erased or glossed over. By the way, there is a scene in the movie, a distant camera shot of Jolson/Parks singing and dancing in a theater and on a runway. That is actually Jolson doing that.

This movie really touched my heart. The Cole family lacked communication skills in connecting with each other. Natalie Cole used drugs to num her pain. Also, Natalie Cole and her ex-husband truly loved each other, but the drugs ruined thier marriage, because they were not in their right mind. This... more info
