It has good plot and good acting but it's very depressing. I don't know why most Korean movies have tragic ending. I for the fighting scenes, I prefer the Chinese way. It's because I can see cleary the movements of the weapons, of the hands and legs of the fighters.
It's worth watching once.

The story is the least important thing about this movie. It is all about the intriguing characters and crazy fight scenes. Wang Yu helps to stop the Japanese, and there is also a subplot involving many different fighters looking for pearls.
