Customer Review: Probably a very good resource for individuals beginning their research in thyroid problems, a trustworthy source, but this book provided no new information and did not address the problem of continued fatigue, immune deficiency, etc. that comes along with hypothyroid despite the fact that numbers... more info
Customer Review: Life saving information is in this very well written book. I learned smokers can develop bladder cancer besides the norm such as heart disease. Get this book if you are past 40 and/or avoid seeing a doctor for checkups. There are many easy to read articles in this book which you may feel too... more info
Customer Review: I am 13 yrs old, and about to enter a BIG, very competitive HS, so you know how hard that can be. I was getting very worried about my memory, about how I immediately forget why I entered the room, etc., then i saw this book. I thought, well, let's see how this helps. Customer Review: Worthless for med school admission. Here I'll give you all the info in the book: get good grades, do well on mcat, write a good essay. Most of the book is essays from successful applicants. Wouldn't recommend copying one for yourself so I can't see the reason for them being in there.

Customer Review: I was once a paranoid premed who needed some guidance on how to pursue my dream. This book acts as a detailed guide to the medical path. Sometimes the book gets a little too specific on some of the "rules" (i.e. how to pack your clothes with attached diagrams), but these are only suggestions.... more info
Customer Review: For anyone diagnosed with breast cancer this fitness guide is certain to be helpful. My physical therapist was very impressed with its scope (encompassing each type of surgery/cancer treatment) and the carefully detailed explanation of each exercise. There are thousands of cancer survivorship guides... more info

It's broken into 11 categories, each containing a series of small articles written by different and appropriate authors. They range from discussions on what to focus on... more info
