1.Tuscan and Andalusian ReflectionsTuscan & Andalusian Reflections
from Bassenia/Lagoni Architects
Price: $23.07

Customer Review:
I love Spanish and Italian architecture. This book has some of the best of both. It has great photos and you can almost feel yourself surrounded by the images presented. It is a great coffee table book, as well.

2.[no image]Andalusian Dawn
from WordTech Communications
Price: $16.00

Customer Review:
The first three quarters of this lovely book were composed with an eye toward the Moorish underpinnings of southern Spain. Carbó, himself trans-cultural (Filipino/Spanish/American English), has the ear and direct experience with the sometimes desolate landscape of Almería. Crickets,... more info

from Trans-Atlantic Publications, Inc.

Customer Review:
For seven hundred years, Morocco and Spain were politically, culturally and economically inter-connected. This close relationship was severed in 1492, when the Spanish monarchs expelled Spain's large Jewish and Muslim minorities. Many of the refugees fled to neighboring Morocco where they brought... more info

4.The Royal Horses of Europe (Allen Breed Series)The Royal Horses of Europe (Allen Breed Series)
from J. A. Allen
Price: $52.50

Customer Review:
This is an engaging book, and a must read for lovers of the Iberian Horses--especially the Lusitano. Compared to Gonzaga's "History of the Horse Vol 1" this text is probably less historically accurate. However, The Royal Horses of Europe is much easier to read and contains more relevant information... more info

5.[no image]Andalusian Horses (Magnificent Horses of the World)
from Gareth Stevens Publishing

Customer Review:
If you have a young equine enthusiast around, this book would make a nice gift. Photos are artfully done in the style of Robert Vavra. Very little content for the adult reader. Poor breed reference book. Binding on the book buried several nice photos. Paper quality took away form others.

9.[no image]Platero and I: An Andalusian Elegy, 1907-1916
from Marlowe & Co

Customer Review:
Platero and I is a series of vignettes about the life of a poor poet and his treasured donkey and the small Spanish village in which they live. Written in richly lyrical prose, it is a hauntingly beautiful book which explores the depths of human emotion and feeling, and the concepts of love,... more info

10.[no image]The Flying Angels: The Story of a Vaulter Who Must Overcome Her Fear to Once Again Perform on Her Amazing Andalusian (Treasured Horses Collection.)
from Gareth Stevens Publishing

Customer Review:
I LOVE this book! It taught me about vaulting, a horse sport I had never heard of before. In the book, Adala loses her confidence after taking a spill. Will she get it back and decide to rejoin the team? Read the book and find out! Also read A Horse for Hannah, Lousiana Blue, and Rush for Gold, all... more info
