Customer Review: This book was a joy to read since it was written almost like a novel. I agree with other reviews about the last chapter. I think the author should have spent a bit more time on it.
Customer Review: Based on the title, I assumed that this book would be a relatively light overview of S. African history and would provide some commentary about how S. Africa had gotten to where it is today. My assumption was wrong, however, and I found it to be much more academic than I expected.
