| | 1. | | The Wretched of the Earth from Grove Press Price: $11.20
Customer Review:
Frantz Fanon's political commentary on colonization is the perfect example of revolutionary literature with a pulse. It explores the entire ordeal of colonization: from the early pangs of colonized animosity, to armed rebellion, to the destruction of the colonial bourgeoisie, all the way up to... more info

| | 3. | | Confessions of Augustine from Hackett Publishing Company Price: $8.95
Customer Review:
Michael P. Foley's "Editor's Preface" to this edition of Confessions contextualizes the translation well. It serves to locate Sheed's translation historically and academically. The "Editor's Preface" also discusses the cover art for this edition. That discussion is not only an insightful description... more info

Who will grant me this grace, that you would come into my heart and inebriate it, enabling me... more info

Customer Review:
The Question is, without doubt, the single best argument against torture under any circumstances. It is a brutally true and personal account of a man caught up under the circumstances beyond his control during the Algerian War of Independence. It was a time when the French, desperate to maintain... more info
