I agree completely with David above. It is shameful to me that this book is considered a biography. And as to an objective and unbiased account of the subject, this is laughable. You'd be better off reading a more scholarly book on this subject.

Allison Wier is by far my favorite author. I met her at a book signing in Memphis and I found her to be very personable, intelligent and kind. She knows her stuff and I consider her to be the best at upping your Elizabeth I knowledge.

The dictionary is helpful if the words you are looking for are listed. I understand that to have a dictionary of every version of the old english language is not feasible but why list a word with a "see [such and such a word]" if the word you are trying to see is not listed?
