Editorial Review:

Get perfect miter cuts the first time, without any need for trial-and-error, when you use the Incra Miter 3000 Table Saw Miter Gauge. The Incra exclusive AngleLOCK Indexing System delivers 364 lock solid angle stops in 5-, 1-, and 1/2-degree increments over a full 180-degree range with continuous adjustability between all 1/2-degree settings. Combine this with the included GlideLOCK Miter Bar, Incra Flip Fence and the Incra Flip Shop Stop, and you'll easily achieve mitering accuracy that you never thought possible.

Interlocking grooves in the fence and stop ensure even the sharp edge of mitered work will not push behind the stop. The Miter Gauge also has eight expansion points that allow for adjustments to both sides of the bar for zero side play, and anti-friction travel. This gauge works with all table saws with standard (or near standard) 3/4-by-3/8-inch miter gauge channels, including Delta, Craftsman, and other imports.

  • The best!
I have a Grizzly table saw and, of course, the included miter fence is pretty bad. After an hour or so I had this thing humming. Rock solid in the miter slot. I only have a slight problem -- there's a nylon washer that the protractor rotates around and there's the slightest amount of play in the fence if you grab it and torque it around. Probably not a problem for normal operation but I was a little worried about it. Emailed Incra and they're sending replacement parts! Great experience and great company.

  • I love this thing...
I have been using the Incra 3000/27 Miter Gauge for probably about a year now and have never looked back. Contrary to an earlier review I have never had any probalems with the backet that mounts the fence to the miter gauge. I have used the miter at zero degrees, 90-degrees and just about every degree in between. I particulary like the stops mounted on the fence which come in very handy when cutting multiple pieces at the same length. One small hit would have to be the scale on the fence...pretty... more info

The tool does perform flawlessly as promised initially. However, this depends on how long and how often you use for various mitering angles - the pivot hole of the stamped plate will wear out quickly against the pivot pin. When you get large play and the miter gauge will be no longer accurate. I think this is a design flaw for being made cheap.

  • Angle precision is great. But length system kind of sad.
I look at this fence and I am kind of baffled at why such a poor system of setting the tapes was chosen (there is an independent slippery segment every 16 inches). The tapes are Mylar or something similar with a little translucent window you're supposed to use to align a succeeding segment with a previous one. Wow, you can futz with it for 20 minutes. Then it moves but you don't know it. INCRA says you can tape the segments together, once aligned. The problem is, it buckles the tape and still moves and you... more info
