The best table saw I had. I like to make clocks and the incra 2000 i got was the best thing i ever got.It was simple to put together and there was little things to put together, when got together i found out that the guids on the runner sure did help alot when i got them set just right because my old miter gauge was loose and would not make crisp cut like the incra does. The fence and the stop on it sure is well built all of the miter gauges that i checked out this one weighs the most and is built the best, with the teeth cut out for... more info
Bought in 2002 I have had my miter 2000 gauge for 5 years. As a left handed person I do not like the tape configuration. But I must say this gauge was dead out of the box. Set up was very simple. The stop is awesome -- and completely reversible to the right side of the blade. THis thing fit my older Delta cabinet saw (right tilt) and my newer X-5 left tilt w/ no problem. I have also purchased the incra 7" square and have found it dead accurate. I do not like the price of Incra products but I must admit they are true... more info
Incra 2000/27 Miter Gauge Recently purchased the Incar 2000 Miter Gauge. I have tried for years to accurately cut mitered angles with mediocre success.
I spent a very careful hour setting up the Miter Gauge. When set up was complete (followed directions explictly) I tested the product. I took 8 pieces of stock 3/4" x 1 1/2" x 12" and proceeded to cut 22 1/2 degree angles on both ends. Laid all eight pieces on the work bench and dry fitted a perfect hexagon. You can't get a human hair in the joints. This is an expensive tool... more info
Incra 2000/27 Miter Gauge Any Incra jig is a winner. The 2000 is no exception. For a few dollars more than the Incra 1000 you get positive stops every one (1) degree, rather than every 5 degrees as on the 1000. Additionally there is another indexed stop which then makes all the positive stops on the 1/2 degree. Marvelous instrument, especially when compared to the miter gauge that came with my Sears table saw 22 years ago. Update 31 Mar 05: Now that I've been using the Incra 2000 for a few months, I find zero defects, zero... more info
