While gameplay is decent overall, still needs to be improved with a patch. The graphics are very good and presentation is good as well. Hopefully, As I write this the pending PC patch will improve on alot of this games flaws! Even with that being said, the game is worth a look as it is!

Have had software problems from day 1 on Vista operating system. Game will abnormally shut down
or abend without any notice. I went to microsoft site to find applicable updates that might stop it but nothing is working.

I played the NHL series as a kid, and loved it. I was curious if this would hold my interest, even not being a big hockey fan.
Well, it didn't. The controls are extremely tough to learn (I don't play a lot of sports games, though). The difficulty settings are sort of awkward...I would win 6-0... more info
