Customer Review: My husband and I bought these because I walk the dog and he tries to follow me in the car as I start to get out of sight at several of our local parks. I also walk around the freeway here in the Detroit area with the dog and communicate with my husband while he is at home. We live right off the... more info
Customer Review: I use these to contact my custodian while he is in the bldg. I was surprised that they actually worked when he was outside the bldg and I was in the bldg. Excellent for the price.
Customer Review: The battery life is terrible. If you read nothing else in this review, know that. But first: Upon opening, the first thing you'll realize is that no matter how small you think they are, they are even smaller. They measure about 3 inches tall. Maybe 4.5 with the antenna. Customer Review: Bought these for a cross country convoy of a car club. Charged them once and they lasted the entire 1100 mile trip. No complaints. I specifically like that they came with rechargables and a charger that didn't require a base station (portable).

I wanted to get ones with rechargable batteries since kids really know how to drain batteries with excessive use. I would recommend this... more info
Customer Review: I bought these to replace an older model that supposedly only had a 12 mile range. These don't send or receive as well as the old ones. They also eat batteries a lot faster. Guess I should have stuck with the old ones.
Customer Review: This radio package is a great value. When you look in the operators manual, the included accessory package is listed at over $39 dollars. The radio is very lite in weight. Since it is able to run on both rechargable as well as dry cell batteries, it is great for emergency communications. The only... more info
Customer Review: The electronics might be fine- I wouldn't know. The product broker while trying to install the batteries. The battery cover is one of the flimsiest and poorly designed things I have seen in a month of Sundays.
