Customer Review: Greer's encyclopedia is one of several reference works I own and use. Others include the older Encyclopedia of Occultism & Parapsychology, edited by J. Gordon Melton and the newer Dictionary of Gnosis & Western Esotericism, edited by Wouter Hanegraaff. Unlike these larger and more expensive... more info
Customer Review: Walter Martin is a well-known author within Christian apologetic and anti-cult literature. This well researched, lengthy compilation is an excellent resource to own, as is Martin's Kingdom of the Cults. The book carefully examines, defines, and clarifies numerous occult practices and religions from... more info
Customer Review: This is an amazing work of scholarship, and a mighty and substantial read. Prior to this undertaking, the only available copies of the three books were hard to read, difficult and expensive to obtain facsimiles which cost almost 5x the amount of this more easily accessible work. Almost 1,000 pages... more info
Customer Review: A very well-researched book, it made for a good read just due to the obscure nature of the subject, but i think it would seem cumbersome to someone who hasn't read much about occultism and late eighteenth-early nineteenth century Germany and Austria.
Customer Review: My first complaint about this book, is it is not written in a proper historical manner. There are no footnotes, no proof quoted the pages, just a half-narrative half laundry list of facts that are not justified in any way. My second complaint about this book, is that the author posted a review... more info

Customer Review: One of my favorite hobbies is to go to the poetry section of a large bookstore (including Amazon) and read a few random poets off the shelf. When I find myself weeping the aisles (or in front of my computer), I know I've found a keeper. That is how I discovered B.H. Fairchild: reading "The Second... more info
Customer Review: Konstantinos' book drips with mystery and that's only the beginning of what makes Vampires The Occult Truth a definitely spooky but worthwhile read. With so many different types of vampires to write about (human bloodsuckers, undead stalkers of the night, sexual vampires and those who work like... more info
Customer Review: Frances Yates is an indispensable auther, her work regarding the occult science and its development through the Renaissance to it influence today is a needed view from a clear and historically sound perspective. One of the things that I like about her is that she gives suggestions for further study... more info
