This volume collects Masamune Shirow's early works, in which you can find basic ideas behind Masamune's later stories including Appleseed, M-66, etc. While the mangas are not great in themselves, this collection is worth having for enthusiasts of Masamune's works.

I am a big fan of Shirow and Appleseed, so this book was a must have. I was very pleasantly surprised though with the amount and quality of the sketches and production notes section at the back. Great stuff. I'd have given it five stars, but some of the content seems like fluff or filler. Not too... more info

Even though Masamune shirow uses digital coloring now he still uses hand sketches which makes up for all of the CG this is the best book by far off all of the intron Depot books. I really like ID 1 alot but this is a really nice... more info
