I am a beginner adult student of the violin, and I love this book! The CD is beautiful on it's own, plus it is needed as all of the tunes are unfamiliar to me. The songs are mostly short, and vary in difficulty. THere are no guidelines as far as tempo, bow strokes, atc. But all the more fun to work... more info
