This is an abridged edition, and while still charming and beautifully illustrated, it's not the complete experience. Unfortunately the unabridged version is out of print and used copies are rare and extremely expensive, so it's likely the best you're going to do within a reasonable budget.

When I was a toddler this was the only book that I wanted my parents to read! We read it at least twice a day. My favorite page is the 2 page spread of Huckle Cat. I called him "Big Kitty" lol!
