| | 1. | | Invisible Man from Vintage Price: $10.17
Customer Review:
"The Invisible Man" is a classic novel which uses the first person narrator, the invisible man, to move the reader through various types of racism, dishonesty, and deceptiveness which a black man in the 1950's would encounter. The more the invisible man is used by others, the more invisible he... more info

| | 2. | | Invisible Man from Random House Audio Price: $23.07
Customer Review:
An inspiring reading from Joe Morton. I had read the book, however when I listened to this audio version during a long road-trip I felt as if I had discovered the work anew. Joe Morton's performance is wonderful beyond words. I have listened to a lot of audiobooks, but this is my favorite!

| | 4. | | Flying Home: and Other Stories from Vintage Price: $10.40

What a concept! After all, he's invisible, right? This young black man starts out in the South and then moves to New... more info

| | 8. | | Juneteenth: A Novel from Vintage Price: $10.17
Customer Review:
A novel about the truth as seen through the eyes of a fiction--indeed, the truth, to Ellison, was always suspect to the lie and again, as in the phrase the emancipation myth, where freedom wasn't given by the law but the law was only subject to the people who inforced it as truth, and thus... more info
