| | 1. | | Little Women (Signet Classics) from Signet Classics Price: $3.95
Customer Review:
I first read this book when I was in third grade. I was about halfway through the book when I had to fling it across the room from me in utter horror. Eventually, the pull of the book was too strong: I picked it up, finished it, and sulked for a week. And ever since then, whenever I try to reread... more info

| | 2. | | Little Women (Unabridged Classics) from Sterling Price: $9.95
Customer Review:
Little Women is very like The Brady Bunch. In its time, everybody knew it was sugary-sweet and unrealistic. (Including, and especially, Alcott.) It still dared to tackle subjects previously taboo. (For Little Women, it was daring to show girls with personalities, for Brady Bunch, it was new to show... more info

| | 3. | | Eight Cousins (Puffin Classics) from Puffin Price: $5.99
Customer Review:
I have read this book and its sequal "Rose in Bloom" over six times, and it has yet to lose its magic. I plan on reading these book to my daughters someday. Louisa May Alcott has such a wonderful ability to tell simple stories with important morals. Eight Cousins, like most of her books, is... more info

| | 5. | | Jo's Boys (Bantam Classics) from Bantam Classics Price: $4.95
Customer Review:
The third book of the series brings closure to Demi, Daisy, Teddy, Rob, Dan, Nat and many other characters as they embark upon their adult lives, ten years after the conclusion of "Little Men." In addition, Alcott focuses more upon Josie, Bess and others who were mere tots in the previous... more info

| | 6. | | Little Men from Signet Classics Price: $4.95
Customer Review:
It's a story I've read many times, but I did specifically want the cover that is pictured with this item (to match the others I have in the series), and that's not what I got. Very disappointed, a complete waste of money on my part, but not worth returning by the time I pay for interational... more info

| | 8. | | Little Women (Scholastic Classics) from Scholastic Paperbacks Price: $4.99
Customer Review:
I bought this book as a gift to impress the receiver. To my shock, the receiver told me the book was very nice indeed but it contained only the first half of the book. I did not see anywhere where we are told about this being only half of the book unless you include the Library Journal description.

| | 9. | | An Old-Fashioned Girl (Puffin Classics) from Puffin Price: $5.99
Customer Review:
Although I think it may be a bit advanced for my 9 yr. old, I'm still glad I purchased this book for my most recent book club choice. A gentle book that flows easily, and the characters change for the better in wonderful ways. The one thing that bugged me was Mrs. Shaw and her smelling salts. It... more info
