Customer Review:
I had discovered this author years ago with Garden of Lies and after reading a few more by her, I'd somehow stopped reading her and don't know why.
I'm glad that recently somebody mentioned her name because I love her writing and this book proved it.
A great story with realistic... more info

Customer Review:
Admittedly, I have stayed away from books that focus on multiple characters or sets of friends. I guess I read too many of them when I was younger and I find it more engaging when I can soak up a single character. Given that, this book far exceeded my expectations. The characters where all likable... more info

Customer Review:
I expected this book to be predictable and shallow, and it delivered! It was a quick, mindless, yet entertaining, read. The characters were a little forced, but relatively believable. I woudln't say it completely lacks merit, but it's certainly not going down in history as quality literature.

Customer Review:
I listened to this unabridged book on tape in the car. I had never read or heard this author before, and I'm not sure if it was partly the reader's voice (blah) but the characters seemed one-dimensional to me. There was a lot of action, but not much insight as to what the characters were thinking or... more info

Customer Review:
I thoroughly enjoyed Garden of Lies but found this sequel boring. Several reviewers below expressed my feelings very well... too much rehash and reminiscing about past history... overly redundant... I kept reading (more like skimming), hoping for some progression in the story, only to find this... more info

| | 10. | [no image] | Garden of Lies from Smithmark Pub
Customer Review:
A story that begins with deliberatly switched babies, done to hide adultery, doesn't sound either promising or uplifting. But Eileen Goudge has done it-this reader came to care about those babies as they grew into fascinating, strong young women, and to care about all the tangled familial webs... more info
