Customer Review: This book has helped identify Red Wing pottery, each type is in a separate area and the back includes a 'find by number' list.
There are some items that aren't in this book, but it would help a person get a general idea of what items are worth.
Customer Review: I bought this book as a gift for a serious Red Wing collector and am glad I did. It's not the usual type of Red Wing memorabilia they'd run across and it gives an interesting viewpoint of the political arena the pottery business went through, which isn't very well known.
Customer Review: This book is not an extensive encyclopedia. It provides an introduction and overview to the Red Wing art pottery lines from the 20s - 60s. It covers a number of different patterns and types, but is not as complete as it could be.
