This CD by Mannheim Steamroller is a bit different than the others, but I am okay with this. I think artists need to change things up and give a different perspective to their art/music. This CD takes the listener down memory lane of Whoville. I think it is a good one to have in the CD library.

Though there is a track that is what some would call "traditional Mannheim Steamroller", most of the tracks - if heard "blind" - would not be linked to the artist. A lot of people dismiss Mannheim Steamroller as cheesy synth-rock-Christmas music. However, if you can get through Deck the Halls (which sounds a bit dated,) you will hear some of the most thoughtfully-arranged, expertly-produced, and perfectly-performed instrumental Christmas songs.
