We knew Frommer's was geared more toward people with a larger travel budget than we had, but we were still disappointed with this guide. It didn't offer intra-city travel options and most of the museum/sight information was outdated. We missed Rick Steves on this leg of our trip.

"Blue Guide Greece" is wide-ranging, but its site descriptions and directions are often very skimpy; it should be supplemented with the excellent "Greece: an Oxford Archaeological Guide", which doesn't attempt to cover as much ground but does go into much more detail on the places it does mention.

The reason to buy this large (approx 10x14) book is for the LARGE Hopper prints. Not every one is quite this size, but enough are to make picking up a used copy worthwhile. It's a pretty nice selection, and I'm glad to have it even though I have other good Hopper books.
