Customer Review:
This book, Jesus of Nazareth by Pope Benedict XVI, is a beautiful rendition of Jesus' life and parables. It delves deeply into Jesus' parables, especially the Good Samaritan. Pope Benedict XVI brings this parable into the present day depicting Africa as the beaten down traveler in which we all can... more info

| | 2. | | The Apostles from Our Sunday Visitor Price: $10.17
Customer Review:
A Lutheran must take this position, that the current Pope's depiction of the apostles starting the Visible Succession is more to tradition, if anything, than Scripture. The argument over petra and petros in Mt. 16 is major. Confession or office? Has to be confession. This leads to second... more info

Customer Review:
When Pope Benedict XVI issued the motu proprio "Summorum Pontificum" in July 2007 which liberalized the use of the Traditional Latin Mass, there was commentary and speculations from all over the spectrum as to why the Pope would release such a decree. Customer Review:
This is an outstanding book. It is a wonderful intermixing of theology and spiritual meditations. The only minor disappointment is with the limited amount of reflection devoted to the Holy Spirit. The writing is based on the old European style and for some readers it might be laborious to follow.
