Customer Review: I was hoping for something along the lines of "A Year od Adventures," but I didn't like this as much. It's divided up into chapters for different modes of travel, which means (for example) that there's a whole section on train trips. That's not really my thing. When I buy travel books, I want... more info
Customer Review: Lots of information. Easy to use. I will be able to avoid printing information from the "America's Byways" web site before we depart on a road trip.
Customer Review: The title is a bit misleading and the portion on art is a bit longer that other parts but this is an interesting collection of 'stuff' to know about. Well put together and some of the photos are strong. Some are not so strong--otherwise this could rate 4.5 stars.
Customer Review: This is a wonderful full-color book on the geography of the world.

- green fonts for forestry
- highlighted waterways
- the ocean major currents
- bays highlighted

Customer Review: This book covers most of NG's great portraits in early years. Considering it only costs $20 with 280 pics, this book is definitely worthing.
Customer Review: A great way to plan a road trip anywhere, focusing on National Park and camping destinations. We used it as a weekend getaway planner for short trips outside the city, then combined it w/ TOPO maps for hiking and National/State park websites to reserve and pick our camp sites. Only wish they would... more info
Customer Review: I got this for my twin girls who are in Third Grade, and they really enjoy it. It has the excellent National Geographic maps and a lot of information packed into its 192 pages. It also has links to their webpage spread throughout for an interactive experience. This atlas is a great resource for... more info
Customer Review: This book has a great deal of information but it doesn't list the parks I wanted to find. For the state of Florida only five are written up! Since there are over 40 Parks in the State, I found this Ludicrous.
This book picked the top 200 state parks and completely ignored all the others. I was... more info
