Customer Review: If you have a young equine enthusiast around, this book would make a nice gift. Photos are artfully done in the style of Robert Vavra. Very little content for the adult reader. Poor breed reference book. Binding on the book buried several nice photos. Paper quality took away form others.
Customer Review: Inexcuseable mistakes, such as referring to the special lateral gait of the Icelandic horse, the tolt, as the "tilt," pepper this book. Customer Review: This is just a picture book... I bought it, looked at the pictures, and resold it on ebay since I have a pasture full of the same pictures. The pictures are nice, if that is all you are looking for, but there aren't all that many of them. This is more of a children's book.
