I suppose if you can't get your hands on any other translations, this one will do. It's alright, in the sense that it does follow along with the original stories rather well.

This is a 2-disk set. I didn't realize that when I bought it, so it was a pleasant surprise! The first disk is the entire Tao Te Ching, read to you. The second disk is a long commentary on the text, also read by Jacob Needleman.
I enjoyed the commentary at least as much as the actual text.more info
