best reading light I have had many book lights and this one is by far the best. Sharper Image has a good one, with a leather case and its stylish and pretty bright. But it lost its power over the years, and still it never was as bright as this one by Mighty Bright. I had another from Barnes and Noble with 3 bulbs and was also quite bright. At Last, One I like This is the best reading light I have bought and I have bought at least five. Most are not bright enough, this is. I use it so my reading will not disturb my wife. I don't need it to be super small and mostof the time I have it connected to an ac outlet so battery use is not an issue. When I have used the batteries they have given good service. Seems light most manufacturers do not understand their market and think they have to be sub-miniature to appeal. That would be fine if they had enough light.... more info
KINDLE: Great when used at an angle to avoid "spotlighting". If you plan to use this light (or any light, very likely) with the Kindle, you will find a problem with "spotlighting." The Kindle's screen is just reflective enough to cause a bright splash across the page when a book light is pointed directly at it. It's impossible to read through the brightness. This book light has a goose neck, so it can be used successfully if you angle it a bit, so that only the edge of the circle of light illuminates the page. This little light is awsome They should've invented these things a long time ago! No need to use the crappy light in an airplane, this light is much more convenient!
