works really good Our chocolate lab loves it. One thing I did find to help with static is use a dryer sheet. I rub the are with the dryer sheet then I comb that area.
furminator The dog grooming tool is great. I have short and long hair dogs. This tool got so much hair off the short hair dogs it was great. With the other combs/brushes I never really got much hair on the short haired dogs.
Amazingly worth the price!!!! I bought the FURminator a few months ago after trying almost every other grooming product out there. I have two German Shepherds and there can be ALOT of hair around when they blow their coats twice a year. I couldn't justify the expense of a $40+ brush so I went ahead and bought other brushes, slickers, etc and the dogs STILL had hair flying off of them - even though not much came of using the brush. I finally broke down and bought the FURminator and now I can literally fill a (grocery store sized) plastic... more info
Good tool. The furminator works well. It is a good idea to comb your dog outside. The first time I used it on my long haired dog, I was surrounded by tons of hair. Most of the hair was from her dense undercoat. This tool works as advertised.
