This fabric steamer offers almost as much power as a commercial model but in a more compact shape for easier home use and storage. Equipped with an efficient 1,200-watt heater, this helpful appliance emits 20 minutes of continuous steam through high-velocity jets. The steamer safely removes wrinkles and freshens up curtains, delicate clothing, and bed linens while saving the expense and hassle of a trip to the dry cleaner. The T-shaped nozzle disperses steam in a wide path for faster de-wrinkling while the 5-foot hose and nozzle end stay comfortably cool during steaming. The fabric steamer's lightweight body weighs only 5 pounds so is easy to carry to the sink or tub to fill with water. Water level markings on the steamer's translucent blue sides show the maximum water level and when the tank needs refilling. For safety, this fabric steamer automatically shuts off when the handle is returned onto the body. For additional convenience, the fabric steamer has a 6-foot cord that wraps around the base for storage and comes with a door hook for hanging the nozzle and any garment. Conair offers a limited one-year warranty on this compact fabric steamer. --Cristina Vaamonde

Other steamers are soooooo much better I've used a lot of good steamers--this is not one of them.
1) Takes forever to heat up
2) Spits water
3) No place to put nozzle (get one with a vertical pole)
4) Hose too short
5) Calcifies after 1 use and no easy way to clean it.
I'm returning mine and getting a better one. You get what you pay for.
Works for the price I wasn't expecting a pro piece of equipment when I ordered this, but rather, only something that would make ironing an easier task for me (hate it, can't-won't do it). Once you get the hang of it, this thing actually works well, however I wouldn't say steaming is faster or better than ironing, it's just different. Obviously, you can't do folds or crimps on trousers, but it does a great job on dresses/skirts/tops (specially ones with flowy, soft fabrics). In fact, one of the best uses I found for it is... more info
Just Plain Awesome !! Purchased at Walmart. I purchased this Conair Fabric Steamer months before I opened it to give it a fair try only to regret not opening it sooner. It is just amazing. Now I can only hope it keeps working for a while before I go from impressed to disappointed. Garments iron with just a stroke or two of the arm depending on the kind of fabric. The heat/steam is intense so be careful not to burn yourself as I did a few times till I got the hang of it. It might be too soon to say but for now I'm Loving it and... more info
Great Value for the Money !!!! I love this product. It works great and is so affordable. I don't think it takes too long to heat up at all and the hose losens up after the first two uses. It is so portable that I would consider taking this on a road trip if need be. I no longer iron the old fashion way. This is so much quicker than ironing. The only thing is I wish it did work longer than 20 minutes. That is the only con I have with the product. But if you are just getting an outfit ready for work this is all you need. If you are doing... more info
