Amazing camera. This camera recently broke down. I am giving it 5 stars. Because, Hey it broke after like 5 years. I suppose it gave me ten thousand impressions of sweet memories. Basically, I wanted a camera with higher optical zoom. It didn't take much time, and I ended up with such an amazing camera that literally transformed me to an enthusiastic photographer. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ3 12x, 3MP This is a great camera but it has only 3.1 MP. It takes nice pictures though I want more then 3.1 MP.
Also, always use the flash when taking pictures at night and you can get nice pictures (I didn't tried a tripod yet). I had some problems with OCZ cards. I got some errors 'Error reading flash' or 'Write error' . I also tried with my friend's OCZ card (which he uses it with a Canon) and I got same errors. Problem was solved after I changed the 2.0Gig OCZ card with a KingStone 2.0G SD card.
Great Camera I have owned a few cameras but this one takes the cake. I'll keep this short - fast start up
- takes SD cards and can run them at high speed
- optical image stabilizer works wonderfully
- very long 12x zoon
- solid and takes nice pictures
- has video and full manual mode
- cheap I really enjoyed this camera. It's well made and is small enough to carry around. Only wished it had manual focus.

This camera was similar to a more updated c2100, and I had heard that the recent Olympus cameras were not as good. I had printed out letter-size pictures on my computer printer with the c2100, so I knew that 2... more info
