Average Can be a fun game to play occassionally, but gets boring after an hour or so.
I like the multi hull! The graphics are incredible, and the wind... when it's behind you and you're in a multi hull, you can careen around and two hulls will be lifted out of the water, and the wake will look like you're in a motorboat.
There's all the strategy and the spinnaker and port and starboard and right of way, so it's like sailing a real boat.
I recommend this game and I really like playing it... my Dad does too!
My sailing fanatic son loves this game I bought this as a christmas gift for my son (10) who loves to sail. When I looked at it closely when it arrived, I worried that perhaps it would be too sophisticated for him. But he loves it, and says the graphics are really cool. My husband plays it too and they are both learning more about sailing as they play. My husband (almost no sailing experience), and says the game is helping him to understand racing more, and my son can try different strategies and see how the game reacts. Learn how to sail without going through much of the work! This game is a great on value and good otherwise. The graphics paint quickly and the realism of the experience - changing sails, direction, etc - really can teach you some of the basics of sailing without actually being out on the open water. Overall, a good game.
