Editorial Review:

It's almost impossible for birds to find water in cold winter weather. With Nelson's Bird Bath Heater you can maintain an ice free bird bath to attract birds and keep them coming back even in sub-zero weather. Simple and easy to use, just plug it in and watch the birds choose your bird bath all winter long. Immersion-type electric bird bath heater is rated 200 watts @ 120 volts, and costs very little to operate. Heavy-duty electrical cord has grounded plug and a short cord length keeps the plug off of the ground. This bird bath heater features a stainless steel coil spring that protects the tubular heating element from damage by impact. Shuts off automatically in 60 seconds when operated out of water.

  • This heater does a great job!
I've had no problems with this heater. The birds really seem to enjoy having access to drinking water this winter. The heater will shut off when the outside temp is over 40 degrees and it has a 4 year warranty. I have read that providing drinking water to birds is more helpful to birds than birdseed.
