The Gen/Tran PowerStay manual transfer switch is a highly versatile switch designed for 10 circuits, 30 amps, and generators up to 7,500 watts. Plus, as your family or business needs change, this product can expand up to 16 circuits, increasing its range of use. The cabinet can be conveniently flush or surface mounted indoors, and the design accommodates either hardwiring to a generator or installing via a plug-in cord. The standard branch circuit breakers make for easy replacement and expansion, allowing you to reconfigure the product to suit your needs. Housed in a NEMA 3R-rated aluminum cabinet, this transfer switch features a L14-30 male power inlet. Included in the design are three 15 Amp 1-pole breakers, three 20 Amp 1-pole breakers, one 2-pole 20 Amp breaker and one 2-pole 30 Amp breaker for your water heater; the transfer switch accepts Arc Fault and GFCI breakers. To use this transfer switch, a 60 Amp main breaker must be installed in the existing load center. This product is listed to UL standard 1008.

Generator Transfer Switch Well designed and suitable for most household applications with 15, 20 and 30 amp breakers. All-inclusive kit. Use a licensed electrician for hookup.
Great product, the right way to do it I installed this Manual Transfer Switch to power my homes critical circuits the correct way without risk of electrocuting the power company repair man. I like the way this unit is designed, it comes prewired with with the plenty of instructions that make sense if you take a little time to think them through. If you can't figure the instructions out, call a pro. Anyway, the switch has two load meters that are very helpful once you are powering your house through the transfer switch panel from your generator.... more info
