Editorial Review:

This is the Model 17 Type 1 Little Giant Ladder, model number 10302 (synonymous with model number 302). This ladder is BRAND NEW! The Type 1 Little Giant Ladder maintains the same ingenious design as the "Original" Heavy Duty Type 1A Little Giant Ladder, only in a lighter duty rating. The Type 1 meets the OSHA 250lb rating for ladders. The Type 1 Little Giant is engineered to be a rugged ladder, but is lighter weight than the Type 1A "Original" Little Giant Ladders. The Type 1 is an excellent choice for light commercial use, household use, or for the person seeking a lighter weight versatile ladder. It comes with a Lifetime Warranty! Brand new, and ships fully assembled in the original factory box. The Model 17 stores at 4 1/2 feet high, and opens to a 4, 5, 6, or 7 foot stepladder. In the extension position, it extends from 9 - 15 feet, in one foot increments. It will extend 1 1/2 stories high, or equivalent to a second story window. Perfect for a 1 1/2 story house. This ladder retails at $349. Proudly MADE IN THE USA! Work Platform is included with this listing. Orders placed before noon ship out Free Freight the same day; average delivery time is about 1 week or less.

  • Great all around ladder
i love this thing! It replaced my stepladder(s) and small extension ladder for around the house products and it fits in the back of my car. My wife likes it for the stability but she has a harder time than i do to set it up. Keep it clean and lube the locking mechanism with some real light lube that won't attract dirt. I love the shelf/ step it came with, very handy.

  • Little Giant Ladder
Pros: The concept is very good.
Cons: Is over priced The ladder is very heavy and hard to adjust to certain positions because of the weight. Weight hampers carrying it around easily. If I had it to do over again I would not buy it.

  • A half painted room is a sad sight.
My wife started painting our family room after I ordered my ladder, confident that it would arrive in about 3 weeks, just in time to reach the high parts of the wall by the stairs. The other 3 walls were finished but still no ladder. After about a month I went back to check my order to make sure I hadn't accidentally checked 'Wells Fargo Wagon' as the delivery method. Nope, it said 'UPS' as I had remembered. The ladder was finally shipped more than 7 weeks after it was ordered and arrived quickly. Now we... more info

  • Overpriced, overhyped, underbuilt, and RIPPED OFF!
First off, make sure you CONFIRM with Amazon that it does come with a work platform. They shipped mine without and then said the web info was wrong. I went nuclear and they finally refunded 20 bucks on what is a 40 dollar accessory. I felt ripped off. Now for the ladder. It is the Class 1 250 pound ladder, not the 300 they push on TV. DON'T BUY THE CALSS 1 unless you 1.) weigh less than 175, and 2.) don't need to go above 12-14 feet or so. Then it seems sturdy. Above those limits it flexes and feels like it... more info
