LATHE STAND IT WORKS AS PROMISED. COULD BE HEAVIER. NEED TO PUT A SAND BAG OVER THE MIDDLE BAR IF YOU TURN LARGER OR UNBALANCED STUFF
Jet Mini Lathe Stand The metal stand purchased at the time I selected the Jet mini lathe is absolutley one of the best stands on the market. Strong. solid and easy to assemble. I look foward to purchasing the extension lathe bed and extended support bar. Jet products are one of the best out there. Pat Pichichero

Super strong. This unit is more than strong enough to hold the lathe steady. It is well made of box beams and channel iron. The welds and finish are superior and there were no missing parts or hardware. Good addition to the shop. Ps: I griped about the cost of the extension bar to accomodate the lathe extension I also bought, but it was also well made and allows me to turn much longer pieces.
