Amazingly quiet I bought this Fein shop vac based on online reviews and information and am very satisfied. It is amazingly quiet and powerful.
Quality I purchased this vacuum because it had a large diameter hose and was supposed to be quiet. Plus it could be used with a HEPA filter. I have used this machine for almost a year and it is wonderful. Lots of suction and it is quiet (I don't need to wear hearing protection like I do with my sears vacuum). I use an Oneida deputy cyclone to capture most of the debris before it makes it to the vacuum - this way the expensive paper bag filter and the HEPA filter last forever.

This vacuum really sucks. By that, I mean that it has great suction. My shop has never been cleaner. I installed a sawdust collector between it and my power tools. It works great. The auto-on/auto shut off feature makes it even easier.
