| Kiddieland Rock N Roll Horse Ride On
Editorial Review:
Perfect for baby's first ride-on toy, this plush pony has soft fur and a smooth plastic base and handles, leaving no parts that an unsteady toddler can get hurt on. The horse sits on a rocker for in-place riding and also has wheels that flip down for riders who want to hit the trail. For additional delight, this horse makes sound and wiggles his nose whenever his ears are squeezed. A squeeze to the left ear starts up a happy riding song, while a pinch to the right ear causes the horse to whinney or speak one of two different greetings. The electronic sound runs on two AA batteries, which are safely hidden in a zippered compartment in the horse's belly. The horse comes with a riding hat that is a better fit for adults than toddlers. It comes unassembled but is easy to put together using the included instructions. --Cristina Vaamonde

Avg. Customer Rating: 4.5 / 5.0 yee haw I have had this for my grandaughter for 2 years now and it still just like new. She rides and rides and rides her horse. He loved it!! I bought this rocking horse after seeing it at a friends house. It was purchased for my nephew's first birthday--when it first started to sing he was a little nervous but once on it he would not get off. All laughs and giggles. Well worth it!! Not hard to put together but no instructions. Excellent! My 13-month old son loves this rocking horse. It sings and its mouth moves when it sings. It's very cute. Well worth the price. Good toy overall My thoughts on the horse are that is provides no real educational value. However, it does improve balance and coordination. My (2 yr old) daughter's balance and understanding of holding on to an object to help that balance has increased since we got the horse. It also provides great entertainment as she will sit on it for quite a while and "gallop". I will add that she was scared of it until we turned off the sound - it sings a couple of songs and whinnies every so often out of the blue. She wouldn't touch... more info
